Prof. Dong-han Yeom

I am a theoretical physicist. I am interested in classical and semi-classical black hole physics, physical implications of quantum cosmology, and non-perturbative aspects of quantum gravity.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Theoretical motivations

information loss problem of black holes, quantum gravity and quantum cosmology, classical and semi-classical phenomena of black objects

Experimental motivations

analog models of quantum black holes, quantum cosmology implications to physical cosmology, astrophysical signals of strong gravity phenomena

Technical improvements

Euclidean path-integral approach using complexified instantons, use of double-null formalism for dynamical black holes
